How does Glug make recommendations?

When you scan a wine list, Glug's proprietary matching algorithm surfaces your best matches — cross-referencing the wines against your personal taste profile to find the bottles most likely to hit. The more you log, the sharper it gets.

Does Glug store my photos?

No. Images are processed to extract wine information and immediately discarded.

My recommendations don't feel right. What should I do?

You can update your taste profile under the profile tab, or just keep logging — every bottle helps us learn what you like and dial in your recommendations.

Does Glug work without an internet connection?

Glug needs an internet connection to generate recommendations. Your saved wines and ratings are available offline.

How do I report a bug or give feedback?

Email help@glug.app with a description of what happened — we read every message and will get back to you as soon as possible.
